The most authentic ground in the Eredivisie, with a real standing area and a nice collection of different stands! The ground is dug out in some sort of pit, hence the name "De Koel' (local dialect). I really wanted to visit this one now, since I have heard there are plans to refurbish the ground. I hope they keep the legendary stairs from the dressing rooms to the pitch. Local heroes VVV thoroughly deserved the victory today. Since the match was played at 14h30 I was able to be home in time for Christmas Eve as well!
